12th S. Petersburg Energy Forum took place on September 18-20, 2012 in S. Petersburg. Its main purpose was consideration of problems of Russian energy industry development at the base of integrated approach with regards to national context as well as to changes in the global economy. In line with this basic idea specialists from different institutes, organizations and professional sectors (researchers, engineers, politicians, economists, managers) were invited to the Forum. Main Forum’ issues are as following:
- Forecasts of global and regional energy balances;
- Alternative energy resources and its effectiveness;
- Investments in fuel and energy industry and energy saving finance;
- Innovative technologies in the continental shelf and Arctic development;
- Innovations in oil processing;
- Innovations in industrial and environmental safety in oil$gas sector.
Exhibition of innovations for energy sectors was organized in the “Lenexpo” exhibition center as a part of the Forum.
Tatyana Severyuknina on behalf of SPF “DIEM” made a presentation “Environmental and social aspects management for oil&gas projects at the continental shelf in line with requirements of international conventions and international finance institutes”.
The presentation met an active interest of specialists from financial bodies dealing with investments to large international projects.
