From September to October 2013 public hearings on project documentation of “Landfill facilities on compressor stations of the main pipeline “.Power of Siberia” were held in regional centers of Lenski, Neryungrinski, Olekminski, Aldanski districts of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia); Skovorodinski, Magdagatchinski, Seryshevski districts of the Amur Region and Smidovitchski distrikt of the Jewish Autonomous Region.
The client of the project is OOO “Gazprom transgaz Tomsk”, the general designer – OAO “VNIPIgazdobytcha”, EIA designer – ZAO “SPF “DIEM”.
EIA materials have been distributed and presented for public examination in local administrations and libraries within terms set by the Order of the State Committee for Environmental Protection of RF #372 d/d 16.05.2000 and local regulations on public hearings. All interested parties had an opportunity to leave their comments and suggestions.
Information on EIA placement and public consultations was published in federal, regional and local mass media.

All the participants of public hearings had chance to give their comments, suggestions and express their preferences. Local residents, representatives of local and government authorities took part in consultations.
EIA designer, general designer and client representatives gave full and complete reply to all the questions.
The consultations participants made a decision to approve the facilities construction on the compressor stations.
