Monitoring of geodynamic processes

Monitoring of contemporary anomalous deformation processes in fault zones aims to:

• determine land surface shifts and estimate ruptural orogenic deformations,
• obtain quantitative characteristics of tectonic movements, assess and predict their development,
• monitor ruptural orogenic deformations during unique facilities (I and II category in GOST 27751-88) operation for providing their accident-free functioning (according to Construction Rules 11-104-97).
